BREXIT Update December 2022
Following discussions with industry the GB government has announced that the deadline for use of the CE mark for pressure equipment to be placed on the GB market has been extended to 31st December 2024. For our clients this means that a longer period has been granted to apply to GB approved inspection bodies for certificate transfer.
The deadline for TRANSPORTABLE pressure equipment (ADR) remains at 31st December 2022.
Each client has to determine when they should start to use these marks on the equipment they place on the GB market in good time to meet this deadline depending on their individual circumstances and their customer supply chain requirements.
